OP thinks they're mocking beliefs they find absurd by suggesting solutions they think are silly, unaware that people who actually do believe in the thing already know and accept said solutions.

Its like if a Christian said that they felt the need to communicate with their god, and OP was like (with barely suppressed superior smugness) "You know, I've heard some people use wine as a symbolic representation of their god's blood. Maybe you should try that."
