Amen! I respect that people want fluff and would never discourage anyone from writing it, but gollygee, some diversity of fic would be nice, too!

Also, to tangent off this, unhappy ending fic/unrequited love is something that I would adore seeing more of. I know that probably makes me sound super weird, but sometimes I want the story of what someone does after they are rejected and there's no hope of a happy ending with the one they are in love with.

Me too! I also want to see fics where everybody "knows it better" than the protagonist to go horribly wrong. Because they didn't know better and completely messed up. And now they have to deal with the fallout, and not everything's going to end happily. Spirits, I really really want to read such fics!
