Genma "Just an Innocent Panda, Honest" Saotome from Ranma Half. The only person on the planet who bothered to make a martial art based on the principle of running away and groveling.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Chuckie from Rugrats yet.

Eric, Dungeons & Dragons

(Anonymous) 2017-05-20 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
As an aside, do not go back and rewatch if you haven't seen this since childhood, Eric sort of holds up, but almost everything else doesn't. God, I must have been high on candy cigarettes and candy fruit powder not to realize how annoying some parts were.

I feel like Bill Cage in Edge of Tomorrow begins as a bit of a coward, but I'm not sure if he counts because what I enjoy about the character isn't his cowardice but watching him slowly become brave and resolute over the course of the movie. I suppose a lot of movies do this kind of arc with (one of) their main character(s), but I feel like Edge of Tomorrow does it in a more seamless and ingenious way than most.
