01. Good Lord I hate that shit. I finally stopped ignoring it -- now I will actively comment to say "IF YOU THINK THIS SUCKS, THEN DON'T POST IT. COME BACK WHEN YOU'RE PROUD OF YOUR OWN WORK". Maybe that makes me an asshole, but I'm willing to risk it. Good, bad or terrible: it doesn't matter. It could be the greatest thing in the universe, but it's WORTHLESS unless the creator likes what they came up with. As far as I'm concerned there are two reasons for this.

------ REASON #1: They genuinely think they suck.
------ REASON #2: They are fishing for compliments.

In either case, they need a reality check. NOTE TO ALL OF HUMANITY: Stop being so wishy-washy. OWN your art/fic/whatever. If it sucks, fix it until it doesn't. And then have the balls to say "I made this" without hemming and hawing and looking like a wimp.

11. Here here. There will always be people who are prejudiced against fat people -- but there will always be some of us who aren't. And just so you know, for every rude and hurtful person who wants to talk themselves up by breaking others down, there's ME waving my little flag and thinking the world of you. I have MORE respect for fat cosplayers because they have to put up with so much bullshit -- your dedication, creativity and spirit are beautiful things. <3 Fat does not equal bad. Fat's just another shade of human.

14. I... really agree with you. XD I will probably get shit for this because I'm SUCH a Hannibal fan, but I've always been more attracted to Frances! I think he's more of a riddle. Perhaps because we don't get so much insight into what made him a monster? Maybe that so much of him is still a mystery? Maybe because Ralph Fiennes is a hot piece of ass and I am turned on by scary full-body tattoos? Whatever the reason, I'm just excited that the character has more fans. <3 SERIAL KILLER LOVE.

20. I don't understand the immediate "I MUST HATE ON THISSSSS" attitude -- I'm with you. Sure you might get some chuckles from your snarky friends for bashing a pairing or show others seem to be enjoying, but that's a juvenile passtime. I try to focus on what I LIKE, what is INTERESTING TO ME. Sure there are a million pairings I can't stand, but why waste my time beating people down that do? Negativity breeds negativity. As for me, I choose to be positive!

Did you see it at the IMAX? It was 10000000000 times better and I completely loved everything about it and everyone in it. I even loved Spritle (is that how you spell his name?). It was entertainment! :)

The characters I've ever wanted to cosplay were ones that are covered up. They show a little skin here or there--maybe a little bit of the chest, or a little bit of leg--but never a lot of stomach, or back, since those are my problem areas.. and none of them could really be considered 'scantily clad.' I think that people should pick cosplays that fit their body type, of course, but I would never make fun of someone for not doing it the way people who make fun of overweight cosplayers do.

I think everyone should take that into consideration when doing cosplay, though, not just overweight people. Super scantily-clad skinny girls isn't okay, either.. Naturally they could get away with showing more skin, but a lot of costumes are just over-doing it. And just becaue the body type is right doesn't automatically mean it's a good cosplay. But if you're fat, even if it's a beautifully done costume, it's automatically bad because you're fat. I just wish it went both ways.

25. Aw, you had me on your side right up until you bashed Iron Man. It's okay to like both of them, you know. (I mean, Speed Racer is the one I like better, but Iron Man is by no means terrible. I can't wait for both of them on DVD!)

19. I... just have to say. I don't ship that pairing either, but shipping it is far from desperate. Especially since there's porn of them in one of the manga author's non-series artbooks. Not hearsay either, I own the book.

25. I didn't see Ironman, but YES. I squealed like a 13 year old in the presence of the Jonas Brothers during Speed Racer. And then my friends went "well, I don't really want to see it because supposedly it sucks..."

I agree with you, because I think people should pick cosplays that fit their body type, and this picture was an extreme example (also, I've found out it's a man.. Oops!) but I think it's wrong to persecute someone who is overweight and cosplaying ANYTHING. Actually, the person I'm referring to in the secret was making fun of someone who was cosplaying a character whose only skin showing is actually their face.

News-flash: Men get objectified too, retard.

5 - CORNER GAS! That show is hilarious. I work at a little hardware store in Manitoba and we sell a bit of merchandise. Well, no one really bought anything until I put the mugs on sale and now all 12 of them are gone.

We still have a bunch of pins and an air freshner.

The show is cool and I wish people would by more merchandise. Because it deserves it.

18 - You gotta remember that while yes, Barbara did sometimes scream and play into the cliche, she also ran over Daleks with a fire truck.

32 - The finale had me laughing up a storm. Epic lulz. I still like the show, but... it was disappointing to the point of being amusing.

37 - I can just picture him all, "YOU'RE NOT LIKE THE DOCTOR AT ALL! YOU'RE NOT THE REAL DOCTOR!" I'm thinking he'd be one of those kind of fans when it came to old school/new school. Even if he is a creation of RTD...

50 - INVISIBLE MAN!!!! ♥ That show pwned most. And I couldn't help but slash them too.

52 - Really, adoptive brother and half brother is just too different things. The whole Rhys/Bella storyline just creeped me the hell out.

I don't make fun of them, I just wish that they had picked something more flattering. There are plenty of great characters more suited to larger people's body types.

Exactly. Which is why I made my point of stick-thin Yoko without tits or ass. She's a character that's supposed to be curvy and has some meat on her, I don't want to see a super skinny flat girl in her costume any more than I'd want to see a fat person in it.

That's why you cosplay for your body type. I guarantee you, no one is going to bitch about an overweight person cosplaying a character who is large, especially if it's well done. And if they do, they're a retard.
