This one is REALLY antique.

There used to be this TV program called " Happy Days ". There were two recurring minor characters called Pinky and Leather Tuscadero. ( They were sisters. )

I thought for the longest time that they were one and the same person, named Pinky Leather Tuscadero.

I'm familiar with Happy Days through cultural osmosis and I've heard the name Leather Tuscadero but I had no idea it was the name of a female character.

I still make that mistake from time to time :p! In my case, though, I think it was more that thought Pinky was her real name (or a shortened version of whatever her real name is), and Leather Tuscadero was just the cool name she came up with given her wild lifestyle.

I was born after Happy Days finished, but I feel old hearing you refer to it as 'really antique'. Between reruns, The Fonz, Henry Winkler having guest spots in things like Arrested Development and the whole 'Jumping the Shark' concept, I feel like there's a good chance a lot of people at least know of Happy Days through pop culture osmosis.

Or maybe I am just old :(

I don't use the phrase "shark jump" because it indicates a show that used to be good going downhill and Happy Days was always a piece of junk IMHO
