I thought for the longest time that they were one and the same person

I still make that mistake from time to time :p! In my case, though, I think it was more that thought Pinky was her real name (or a shortened version of whatever her real name is), and Leather Tuscadero was just the cool name she came up with given her wild lifestyle.
