I don't want them to recast the role. I find it really confusing when movies do that, because I can't help but read the new actor as being a separate character. (Like, I completely missed until my third rewatch of the Iron Man trilogy that the dude in IM1 was supposed to be Rhodey.) It's very distracting.

I really loved Paltrow as Pepper. She was one of my favorite MCU characters. I know she's a loon irl, but I take any gossip with a grain of salt, because she's a good actor and she's had a very successful career.

Terrance Howard was a shitty Rhodey, completely unbelievable and thank FUCK we got Don Cheadle to redeem that fucking mess.

Also I don't see anyone whining and bitching about recasting Bruce Banner so... call me crazy but I think you're full of shit.

man, ia so hard on that. Cheadle is fantastic.

But I think you misunderstood me, pal. I'm saying that I, -personally-, get confused by it. I came at the MCU a little backwards, so I saw Cheadle as Rhodey long before I watched IM1, and I thought Howard was just playing some dude basically.

a) who the fuck even gives a shit about the Hulk? and b) I know I've seen people bitch about the guy who plays him now vs in that movie nobody watched, so idk where you hang out but your anecdata doesn't trump mine
