Baking. Everything I make usually tastes okay, but looks nothing like the picture.

Nothing you make will ever look like the picture because the food in those pics have makeup artists.

Same here. Mine always come out really misshapen, to the point that my boss mistook one of the things I brought into work for a completely different dish lmao

Depending on the picture, it's not even the real food. I know for ice cream, they'll use dyed mashed potatoes to get the look that want.

Yeah, don't they take pictures of vegetables in soup when they're still raw and stuff, because cooked veggie soups usually look kind of blah?

This is completely normal. That said, I do have one tip for making baked goods look nice - though you may be doing it already; it's not exactly top secret and some recipes even include it in the instructions. The tip is, if you're baking something with chocolate chips or other ingredients that you bake into your thing in pieces, always keep a little bit of that ingredient to sprinkle on or press into the top of your thing before you bake it. I pretty much guarantee that every food blogger does this, which is how all of their cookies/loaves/muffins look perfectly dotted with chips or M&M's or raisins or blueberries or w/e. That shit doesn't just magically rise to the top for them because they're so good at baking. :P

Playing pool and volleyball. I don't get oppotunities to play often, so no chance of getting good. The trick is finding people who just want to have fun and don't take it seriously enough to care that I suck (we're talking "miss the cue ball" level of suck, so I'm no fun to play against if you care about winning based on your skill and not my lack of it).

I'm pretty tone deaf. I like to sing but people don't like to hear me sing.

I have a friend who likes my voice and insisted that he wanted to hear my sing even though I kept telling him that I'm terrible at singing. I finally gave in and it only took a few seconds for him to go "okay, okay, you can stop". It was pretty funny.
