Harry Potter.

I mean, I have no regrets about being in it. But it was toxic.

Yeah, Harry Potter was just so massive and diverse too. Like those who were "grown ups" thought they were better than the younger fans, even though the books were children's books meant to be enjoyed by all. The fans could be really nasty.

AYRT - I was never directly mean TO the younger fans, but I could be pretty awful about them. I didn't think they were real fans. Why? I don't know. I just didn't. I feel so silly about that now. :/

I'm referring to the specific HP4GU (Harry Potter 4 Grown Ups) yahoogroup that was oh so super secret and special and Cassandra Clare was a part of it and they were really cliqueish.

AYRT - Oh! Yeah, I remember them. I mean, I understood wanting a space for older fans... but I did try joining and found them a little cliqueish.

I had to unfriend somebody who just got way too psycho about Harry Potter and started believing she had actual magic powers (I thought she was joking. She wasn't) and calling people muggle trash.
