Birdwatching early tomorrow (or, as early as they open, which is 9am, but it's an hour drive from here, so) at the Ogden Nature Center, and then lunch at Roosters. Writing group that evening. NASCAR on Sunday.

I was supposed to go to MisCon up in Missoula this weekend (my favorite convention), but... events conspired. NEXT YEAR.

Wow, that is a busy weekend! Are you going to watch NASCAR on TV or in the actual...stadium?

NASCAR on TV. Which means making my husband's favorite meal (my version of burritos). They are labor-intensive but delicious, and we don't have to pretend they're good for us; they actually are.

Birdwatching was rather a disappointment. The place itself is beautiful, and it was a lovely walk, but I didn't get to add anything to my Life List because there was a serious dearth of birds. However, we did get to see a muskrat swimming around, and I think I got some good pictures of a white-lined sphinx moth hovering around sucking nectar out of flowers.

Annnnd we may or may not add a new guinea pig to our herd today...

How many guinea pigs do you need to have a herd? D:
