LOL... because getting yelled at is much scarier than destroying the planet, civil rights, women's bodily autonomy, the healthcare system, social programs, etc. etc... But forget all that piffling nonsense, someone spoke harshly to you!

Yeah, this is basically the bottom line. Like, I actually understand where the OP is coming from and it really gets under my skin and bothers me how radicalized some of the left has become (especially on the internet). But it just doesn't compare to the right, which continues to pose a genuine and serious threat to millions of people's rights and freedoms.

This makes me think of when guys make the argument that straight, white males are the most discriminated against group out there. And I'm just like, "You're comparing mosquito bites to dog bites here. Yes, mosquito bites are annoying as fuck and it can ruin your day if you're constantly having to swat away mosquitoes. But that does not compare to being MAULED BY A DOG - which is far more analogous to the kind of discrimination that involves literally having your rights and freedoms undermines and/or taken away.
