I have always been more of a video game girl myself but there are some anime that I really do love-- and though I had thought that I had outgrown anime, Yuri on Ice!! really reminded me that sometimes it can be fun-- but yes, I think Tumblr fandom for it would confuse me.

Luckily though yurionicefans is a wonderful DW community with a lot of really down to earth members, so if you have a DW anon, I would suggest you check it out!

And seriously I am a 37 year old geek, so my patience for fandoms is very very low-- I love enthusing about things but I have grown to old to put up with drama and negativity in fandoms (and I think that Tumblr can be rift with it)

Yep! Or even personal fandom journals, as someone who posts pretty regularly on her journal but often forgets communities, haha.
