(Anonymous) 2017-05-27 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)To be honest I've lost patience with it. After a pretty solid start to the season we've crash landed in the usual Moffat setting up for a big twist, announcing there is a big twist coming, and we're just treading water until we get to the big twist. I just want to get to the other side of his inevitable poorly thought out cool moment that he thinks is a clever twist and skip the anti-climax. He should just have skipped his attempt at an arc and gone purely episodic.
Well at least we don't have the comedy UNIT act. That was the clue that the soldiers occupying the UNIT role were deadmeat from the outset. Moffat would dare kill his precious fanfic characters he's got
ruiningrunning UNIT right now. I'll take the deadmeat characters over the farce that was Moffat's UNIT leadership though. And next week more Missy, oh fucking joy to the fucking world.
Re: Doctor Who-Tonight
This wasn't treading water. It was fun and exciting. Are we even watching the same show?
It was nice to see Twelve face the consequences of NOT telling Bill he was blind until they were in that position.
So why are you still watching if all you're going to do is hate the episodes and complain about them? You're allowed to have your opinion, but whenever I see somebody consistently saying negative things, I really wonder why they're even in the fandom.
