I've got a month and a half to finish my planned-out, multiple-chaptered fic that I've been trying to write for the past year, because I know it's going to get Jossed so fucking hard when the new season of the show comes out, and I'll probably just give up on it then. The problem is is that I'm super blocked on it and trying to write it is like pulling teeth. There's no way it'll be even remotely done in time. It makes me feel fucking useless.

Just slap an AU tag on it then, or a not Season - Whatever compliant tag on it. That is what those tags are for.

Unless it is a Supernatural storyfic, then just delete it. World don't need more of that shit.

I might end up doing the AU tag, but also I'm actually kind of worried that the show will go places or touch on things that I already planned out last July right after the season finished airing. And then I'll feel the need to go in different directions, which will totally fuck my story's plot.
