I'd say ditto, except now mom's in a board and care and started hospice, so I'm living in her house without her. It's kind of lonely and weird, honestly, and I wonder if I'll ever just think of it as my house, even after she's been dead awhile. We don't and haven't always gotten on, but we're codependent as fuck. I think I'll be okay without her, but it still sucks because now I'm The Adult. I'm almost old enough to have adult kids, I picked the place to get my dad cremated when mom and his brothers were flipping out. Sorry for dumping, just feeling strange and low key awful today.
