I only buy paid accounts for RP journals because I hate ads. XDD;; I only have two RP journals right now anyways, so paying $5 to not deal with ads anywhere is me going "Meh. Whatever."

*shrugs* I can definitely see how/why it bothers you, but not all of us are doing it because zomgz, we care only about the userpics. (On that note, both of mine are under 15 pictures, even. SO. :D)

But that's just my reason.

Don't want ads? So get Firefox and the adblock add-on. It's not like would be more of a hassle than getting a paid account.

Have both of them on my lovely laptop. But the majority of the time, I can't use it (lol no wireless here) and I'm being shuffled between ten-ish different computers, of which none of them have administrator access. Much as I'd love it, Firefox isn't installed.

I spent $5.26 for lunch today. As another person pointed out up above, the ability to edit comments is another great bonus that I love (and I'll admit; I've had a paid LJ for years now; I'm spoiled!). Taking that and not having to go through the hassle of getting those computers fixed up? That's more than just one day's lunch.

*shrugs* I don't know. It's worth it fine for me.

wat. calm the fuck down there. i wasn't replying because i agree with the secret. i honestly don't give a toss what people spend their money on, including paid rp journals.
