I neither role play nor read role plays, but using a paid account seems like common sense to me. I mean, you use icons as part of the role, to convey feelings, yes? I'd think it increases the fun of it.

(The numbering is to make it easier for secret makers to find their secrets, I think; otherwise the date in every single post shows up in the search for some secrets.)

137. I agree. I think a lot of the "NO CANON CHARACTERS WITH OCs" is due to two things:

A. Bad self insertion fic that scarred some people for life.

B. People who want to be with that canon character themselves.

Seriously though, being pretty much the only "successful" gay couple in Marvel right now means that they're probably going to have riots at their doors or something if they do break them up. But I don't think it's the sole reason they're popular - maybe it's because they're actually interesting characters?

edit: but I do agree that they're pretty much the hook that gets a LOT of people into YA

It's not interfering with storylines yet, it's just a really big fear of mine for those two. And it's not so much a storyline thing, more of a character development thing (it's kinda complicated, sorry). I mean, Billy is probably my favorite character (he and Tommy switch every day) and Teddy is a great character, I just don't want to see them get to the point that they need each other to actually work as characters.

As for screen time, their relationship does get some, they got some real nice moments in the Wiccan and Speed spotlight, and they do NEED more spot light, but after that, I think it would be, if done right, good development if they do end up breaking up.

141: I'm not sure about 'overrated', but I agree that Gene Hackman was a bad Lex Luthor. I do feel that it's dated (not just in special effects, but in terms of the story itself), but it has a special place in my heart.
