I have NEVER liked a TV series more than a book. And my mom got all three books, read them, and said they were good.

I read the first book and quite honestly don't know if I want to read the second and third. My mom already told me all the differences in the show/book so I don't feel the need.

The first book was so slow. The TV show had so much more going for it.

143) I hated the alien thing too but I still enjoyed the movie quite a bit. Not the best Indiana Jones movie but still a fun time at the movies.

153) I loved their interaction in the movie but I don't know it was pretty obvious to me that he was going to turn out to be Indy's son right from the beginning.

If I had to guess I'd say they probably do what nomadic women did for eons before the invention of tampons or disposable maxi pads -- they either use cloth pads that they then launder, or natural/biodegradable materials that can be discarded.

It would still be pretty damn traumatic to have it happen for the first time when you're out travelling alone/with a bunch of ten year old boys and no adult woman to instruct you on what to do, though >.<

#168 - I read the first two books before I ever saw the series, and I like them more. But a lot of it might be which you're exposed to first. But for the love of all that is good, NEVER read the third book. It's awful and I feel like the author dropped his pants and mooned the readers.

111. Oh man, 10K Commotion! That was a seriously amazing comic. It's been ages since I read it...probably should go back and catch up. I think I quit because I felt bad knowing I'd never be anywhere near as good as the cruddiest of them. Reading it made me feel like a poser.

Colossus was so well-developed; he's many things, and gay is only one of them. 133. Y'know what? I love that episode. I think that's the only worthwhile episode of series one. I'll admit, I liked "Love & Monsters" but I recognized all of its flaws, which were many--I just thought it was cute and meta.
But "Random Shoes" was just gorgeous. I was almost crying by the end of it. And man, I really wish he could've been a Companion. Or just met the Doctor, just for a little while. You're right--they'd've gotten along fantastically.
