yeah, tbh I think my highlight is also the times stella thought I was cool

We had a rant thread so I ranted and whoo boy did the "racism is over!" crowd get that thread to about 200 comments

I made a secret about Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald being a really well-done song. I missed the post where it went up, and had figured that it wouldn't get a lot of comments anyway since I assumed the song wasn't that popular in the present day. When I checked F!S the next day, I discovered that not only were there apparently a LOT of F1Sers who had Feelings and Opinions about the song, there was a surprisingly long thread of bizarre wank and also someone had posted a "senpai" type picture of a ship and the water it was in, talking about "shipping" the Edmund Fitzgerald/Lake Superior. It was kind of bemusing but I was pretty pleased with myself about it.

That sounds pretty awesome :D. I kinda want to read that threat now.

I remember that and it was hilarious! I think someone even tried to start an Edmund Fitzgerald kink meme.

The time someone was trying to argue with me about the difference between BL and Yaoi.

What's the difference?

The other user was insisting that the term yaoi was only used for m/m pairings for already existing series (think Levi/Eren from SNK) and BL was a term for only original stories (like actual yaoi manga).

I was posting a crapload of secrets back in maybe 2009.

I started a thread about "If f!s was a soap opera." I think about half of the regulars participated.

The first time, as a named user, someone told me they found some value in my presence. And every time after that it happened.

Arguing with curse_angel and calling out ALL of her racist bullshit regarding Star Trek. We haf long ass threads GALORE. MAN do I miss that.

Heh, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she was one of my stalker anons after she flounced.
