the article pretty much described the fanon version of dick grayson and is trying to imply that is who he actually is in canon.

Well, I don't buy Dick as "queer-coded," anymore than I buy Johnny Storm as "queer-coded," but I can see why some people do so.

The article isn't entirely wrong. Dick is an idealized character; he's nice, he's sympathetic, he's attractive; and he does get a lot of disrespect from homophobes.
