I feel this way about a lot of the non-smutty fics I have bookmarked, especially long, action-adventure ones. My standards are pretty low for smut. If it is even slightly hot, I'm good. But with longer fics, my standards are much higher now. A lot of the old Harry Potter fics I used to love just don't do it for me anymore.
