I'm NOT at all a Kathy Griffin fan, I actually dislike her, but I don't have an issue with what she did. Trump himself has done far worse, and I don't understand people who think a comedian joking about him dying is somehow worse than the many people who are ACTUALLY going to die as a result of his administration's healthcare plan.

The joke was in bad taste. I'm not bothered she got fired, but I roll my eyes at the idea that doing so is "fair" or any delusion that the Republicans would be equally quick to redress a wrong if it was Hillary's fake decapitated head on Fox news.

dude, the photo she was fired over was a deliberate parody/imitation of a photo ISIS released with the head of a murder victim. That's not comedy, that's disgusting regardless of whose head you photoshop in.

I'm sorry, I dislike that argument. You don't get to do something awful to someone because they've done something awful. If a comedian did this same thing to Obama or Hillary Clinton, would you be okay with it? Decisions that they made as President and Secretary of State have gotten people killed, too. I am not behind the healthcare bill at all and I'm pretty sure Trump isn't that concerned about the people it will harm, but I'm pretty sure everyone in power has made cuts (or even increases) in spending that are responsible for people dying (healthcare, welfare, law enforcement, military). Two wrongs don't make a right.

Say his policies are bad (they are). Say he's a liar (he is). Say that he's a thin-skinned, arrogant, narcissistic, blow-hard (he is). Say he's ignorant and manipulative and small-minded and power-hungry (he is). There are so many things to skewer and insult about him. Hope that he quits (I do). Hope that he gets impeached (I do). But don't be okay with imagery meant to celebrate someone's death by beheading.
