(Anonymous) 2017-06-03 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)Like even a dark comedy SHOULD have jokes in it and make you laugh but I can't tell you how many times I've seen movies in the comedy category that are straight up dramas. It's really common if the main actor is known for comedies.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-03 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)1. Dramas that aren't comedies at all, but are somehow billed that way. I'm thinking of like... 50/50, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, etc. (these can be good movies, but I resent them being called comedies)
2. Comedies that are dark and uncomfortable but have vicious humor in them as well Usually I don't like these either, because I'm too sensitive to the dark stuff that I just don't want to hear jokes about it. I don't blame people for liking them, but it's not a good mix for me.
