A lot of Star Wars books, the new stuff. Currently on Heir to the Jedi and I'm....not really feeling it.

I mean, it's a Luke book and I like HIM, but it's written in first person, so when it comes to scene changes and stuff, it's really really quick and I have to reorient myself to make them make sense to me.

That and the writing itself is a bit...juvenile. And it's NOT a young adult book.

Also, some silly stuff in it that makes me cringe.

I'm gonna finish it, but I doubt I'll ever reread it.

I'm getting antsy to read the nest Aftermath book. I know people hate Wendig's writing style, but I actually like it. Makes everything seem more intense and "RIGHT NOW" and I like that.

Read Thrawn and Catalyst. Those are my two favorite new Star Wars books.

Thrawn's on my list after I read Life Debt. I'm giving myself a book inbetween each Aftermath book so I don't devour it so fast. :P

Bloodline so far is my favorite.

Ahsoka was a bit underwhelming. I had hoped it was gonna be the Mandalore thing that we'll never see...:C

That's disappointing about Ahsoka, I was hoping it was better.

Oh and Rebel Rising was good too, but still Thrawn is by far my favorite.

I was interested in Heir to the Jedi, because I really like Luke a lot, and wanted to read one that focussed mostly on him - but yes, the reviews for it were not good, so I didn't buy it. :( Any recs for good Luke books?
