Has she lived in the area before? It could be that she's latching onto you because she needs socialization and doesn't know anyone else yet. Next time you do have the energy to go out, maybe introduce her to some people?

That said, she should realize you are introverted and don't have the energy to socialize all the time. As an extrovert I know we can be guilty of not being aware of this if we're not used to it, and sometimes it can be hard to talk about because it can be taken the wrong way. I'm sorry she's making you feel pressured. :( But she might really not know that it's draining to be around her all the time (and it's not BECAUSE of her individually). Hopefully you can talk to her about it, and if she is a good friend, she will understand.
