Not movies you loved as a child necessarily. But what movies/shows when watched give you that sharp and intense feeling of childhood?

Die Hard and Red Dwarf were sick day videos I watched as a Kid. Had a nasty bug recently and found that red dwarf still does the trick.

Dragonball. Used to watch it with my whole family on Saturday mornings. Hell, a lot of Saturday cartoons give me that feeling (Batman Beyond, Xiaolin Showdown, Jackie Chan Adventures).

I had a crush on Terry McGuinness for reasons I couldn't explain to myself. Voice maybe? I also wanted to attend whatever weird party everyone was dancing to in the intro.

Definitely The Muppet Show. We'd watch it as a whole family, and while I enjoyed the recent attempt at a comeback it could never be the same.

Relic Hunter, Xena, Hercules, Cleopatra 2121, The Legend of Sinbad (the TV show -- someone please tell me they remember it), Jack of All Trades, Beastmaster (though I didn't like it). And Angel.

Also, Sabrina the Teenaged Witch. And Diagnosis Murder & Unsolved Mysteries. Sigh. I want to rewatch everything now.

Yes to Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Diagnosis Murder.

Diagnosis Murder is what I cite as the basis for my interest in true crime.

The Last Unicorn, The Never-Ending Story, Transformers: Armada, Princess Sissi, Hysteria!, Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light, The Pirates of Dark Water, Sandokan. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the theme song alone is enough to catapult me back. Someone above mentioned Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. A whole bunch of Aussie shows from the 90s: every time I hear the opening of the Ocean Girl theme song I'm transported back to summer holidays as a kid, with Round the Twist, Mirror Mirror and Thunderstone not far behind it.

The first thing that came to mind for me was The Swan Princess for some reason.

Also, with other responses mentioning shows and movies y'all watched over and over again or on sick days, America's Sweethearts and What a Girl Wants were those for me. I watched America's Sweethearts like three times in one day after coming home from summer camp & it drove my mom crazy because I was supposed to be unpacking and cleaning.

And, as I mentioned in my other comment, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which I watched religiously during TGIF, but also after school when UPN used to show it at 4:00 pm (sometimes I'd watch Oprah instead), and Diagnosis Murder, which I watched on PAX at 10:00 pm every night while doing homework.

It and Bewitched were always on WTBS (before it was TBS), which had that weird 5 minutes after the hour schedule for the longest time. Also, Little House on the Prairie.

And Our House on The Family Channel, which I didn't really watch, but always saw commercials for.
