How is "your lack of sex drive might be a health problem" an unpopular opinion? That's the first thing all asexuals say people tell them to consider when they say they're asexual, and most of them say of course they considered it a health problem, often before they even knew it was possible that it wasn't one, because they didn't know asexuality existed yet.

Truth, and it's incredibly annoying to have someone look at you with such pity like you're a puppy with two legs and IF YOU WOULD JUST ASK FOR HELP.

Exactly, that's the number one thing I hear as an asexual, that's not an unpopular opinion AT ALL, especially here. Honestly, I think even Reddit is more accepting of asexual people now than this place is. People here used to be more open-minded, now everyone's all "asexuals don't really exist, I used to think I was, but it turned out I have a medical issue, so obviously everyone else must too". It gets really old.

It'd be very unpopular on tumblr, where people diagnose themselves as ace all the time without ever seeing a doctor or considering a possible medical cause and questioning people's self diagnosis is rude.
