Today, I learned about Rage Syndrome. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rage_syndrome

Basically a disease that can cause a dog to snap. It acts insanely aggressive for a bit then goes back to normal for seemingly no reason. It is most commonly seen in Springer spaniels!

I'm really skeptical that the end result is worth eating.

Why wouldn't it be. Normal meringue doesn't taste anything like a raw egg. The bean water is used simply because it was discovered to contain proteins that act the similarly to those in egg whites. I'd eat one without hesitation.
