I agree with you, and this is part of why I don't go out of my way to define myself. I may be asexual - I may not be - I don't know, and I don't think I need to really "decide" on it.
I've actually been keeping myself from being tempted to identify either way, because I don't think it'd be helpful, and I'm not sure if it's a "never" thing or if I just haven't found the right guy or what.
