The other day I was randomly thinking about the show, and how I totally would've shipped the O'Reilys if Cyril wasn't pretty much a little kid.

...I feel really, really weird and bad/guilty about this.

Lol I just watched Oz last year for the first time. I liked it enough to finish it, but it was actually really bad, haha. The last few seasons were an incoherent mess, and the finale was just dumb. Were they trying to really leave people guessing on whether or not Cyril was going to be executed? Plus, all the death practically made the show into a comedy, it was really hard to take it seriously, or take the warden/prison staff's woes seriously when they are so ridiculously inept.

But I loved the gay couple, whatever their names were. They stole the show, and were probably the only characters I found consistently compelling. I liked the O'Reilys too, but I also thought it was clear that the older brother was the writer's darling, the brothers' plots were laid on super thick at times.

No comment about shipping the brothers, lmao. But I did wish the older brother would've had graphic gay sex at some point, shame they passed that one up.
