Me neither. Kinks are that for a reason. I say leave well enough alone. Pedo's aren't the same are furries at all. That comparison is more than a little off kilter. Furries don't do it to animals. Every kink is weird to someone out there even the most tame things.

That part was sarcasm. I was just showing how stupidly outrageous the OP was being.

Even so it didn't come across as that. I'm not being snarky or anything, but hating on someone because they are different without understanding is at least prejudice. You don't have to agree but most furries feel prosecruted now because of all the negativity.

What pissed me off is how she compared mocking furries to Racism and Homophobia.

I can understand how it can be comparable to racism, but not the same thing at all. It's more like thinking all black people like fried chicken, or all Americans keep guns under their pillows (even though most of us silly Americans do).

I don't get the connection to homophobia that much, because a lot of gay-hate comes from religion and general idiocy. :|

My point had nothing to do with it being only men and women that could have sex, my point is that the only way to naturally conceive a HUMAN child is with SPERM fertilising with an OVARIE/EGG-THING. Whether it's sexual intercourse or mechanically done in a lab.

Agreed. I'll play nice with furries if they'll play nice with me, but I'm not going to pretend that I'm not skeeved by the idea of sexual fantasies involving anything that can't consent. No children (by any reasonable definition), no animals.

Do they actually do that? Well. I know some of them do... but if they're either a) both pretending to be animals, then they can both consent, b) if they're pretending to be personified animals, then they have intelligences, and can consent. I don't really hear anything *much* about ones who're like 'hey let's pretend you're a real life dog, and i'll do you!'

Okay, saying "OMG BASH HOMOSEXUALS NEXT" is ridiculous because I know what you mean, but on that note making the "it's how we reproduce!" argument is stupid.

Other than that, furries... don't have fetishes about dogs shagging them. That's... crap, I forget the noun for it, but people who are into beastiality. Wanting to have sex with someone while in animal suits is... not the same thing. And saying "omg that would be like accepting paedophilia!" is flawed too. It's actually like accepting people who enjoy roleplaying while they have sex, and one of them pretending to be young. This does not make either person involved a pedophile, because that is wanting to have sex with real children.

Also, I don't know if this is actually considered being a furry but I've heard it so much that it might as well be, to throw it out there, writing fics or drawing art of two non-humans in a sexual relationship doesn't mean you want to have sex with an animal either.
