From my reading of OP's secret, they sound like they're criticizing the kind of fun that people are having and characterizing it as bad or wrong

I can understand that, but my reading is more "Why is everyone having this type of fun, where are all the people having my type of fun?". Less "You people are bad and wrong" and more "Where are all my people?"
