That's weird. Just because you've grown past the topic or fandom or fic, doesn't mean others aren't in that phase of their life. But also why be so weird about people liking your work? Who cares if it's old, it's all new to them.

Ugh. Shit like this is why I get paranoid about commenting or kudos or 'liking' fic.

I hope you don't feel bad. Like the OP, I have older fics that people still leave the occasional comment or review on, and they always make smile. I'm no longer active in that fandom, but I'm glad that people still enjoy reading what I wrote, regardless of how I personally feel about the fics.
