Honestly, OP would have a lot more merit to an argument based on the inappropriateness of Cat Grant, *Kara's BOSS*, dating Kara.

FWIW I've yet to see anyone in Supercat so much as acknowledge that inappropriateness at all.

Also, Cat is a hypocrite and a jerk in S1. She shits on millennials and then makes Kara get some super ~extra special~ coffee because it ~cleanses~ better when she writes news articles. Oh, and she actually admits to wanting to throw phones at people when she's angry.

She can't be bothered to remember people's names and pronounces Kara's wrong, probably deliberately, as well.

Why would Kara want to date someone who can't show basic respect for anyone? Feminist cred doesn't excuse being a decent human being.
