it's too bad you stopped RPing, giving in to the demands of someone being manipulative isn't going to make the behavior stop (but I get it, teenagedom and all)

also, that pisses me off so much, people deciding their SO doesn't get to be friends with anyone of the opposite gender. I have a couple good male friends with GFs and I'm glad they're not like that (I get along with them really well actually). I also once had a female friend with an insanely possessive BF, and it didn't seem to bother her even though it weirded me out. like she NEVER would have been able to have a male friend. Her BF didn't even want her going out (like to the bar, going to my house or another female friend wasn't an issue) on her own. She said she liked it because it made her feel protected. Gave me the creeps.

Oh to be clear he was the one who basically broke off the RPing - like he just told me he couldn't do it anymore cause his girlfriend wouldn't like it, I just decided not to argue cause I didn't want to start shit. But you're definitely right, manipulative people like that will always escalate.

But yeah it's definitely a fucked up mindset. I absolutely can't imagine being that controlling over your SO.

I'd never date someone who told me I had to stop being friends with my friends. What bullshit.
