I want some Treasure Planet icons so badly, but I lost my DVD. ;__;

The subject of the secret must've wrote some very lousy fic, if it gets that sort of reaction. (Never watching the movie again? Yikes. 0_o) I sort of fail at being a Treasure Planet fan, as I never fully got into the fandom. Never read much --or wrote ANY-- fic, the only forum I found was dead and I never joined a community or anything. (I reeeeally regret this, but it just happened that I never got involved.) I'm not very aware of the fic community or BNFs or anything. :'(

Thank you so much! :DDD laughitup_icons, I believe! I really want to do some icons too, but after I reformatted my hard drive I lost my copy of Photoshop, so. D: I think losing the DVD would be more heartbreaking, though. ^^;;


Well, uh, as I just re-discovered, the subject, DisneyFan01, created a Mary-Sue insert-character called Marina Seadrift, and proceeds to draw tons and tons of pictures of Silver/Marina. Quite similar to Dolphy and her obsession with Jim-- they're both at almost the same level, really, if I compare them. But aaahhh, drattit, OP, I'd only seen Marina in passing and remembered her in the back of my mind and now... T_______T;; Blast it all.

On a different note, though, what are you, me? XDD My story's about the same-- never wrote, read a bit, and was never very involved either. Just loved the movie to pieces and watched it incessantly. :D

I'd say that Dolphy and DisneyFan01 are on different levels of fangirlism and marysueism in the fandom. Why? Because Dolphy doesn't claim to want her character/self to be a disney princess, while it seems that DF01 hopes and dreams so badly that her character will be a Disney princess. Sorry sweetheart, fat chance!
