Yeah, I don't mind the Babadook thing as a joke. It just started to bug me after I saw a few people trying to make it into a serious thing.

And partly, that's because I'm getting tired of the idea that if you're gay or bi you really should embrace being this kind of... outsider or "other" that normal people hate. I've been seeing that on Tumblr quite a bit. It just feels like another box to be shoved into. I'd rather NOT be seen that way.

Fair enough. I think it's mostly fun still as a joke. Anything beyond that is definitely more complicated.

The reason for the joke was because the movie got accidentally listed in the LGBT category on a streaming site (I think Netflix?).
