Agreed.

I think maybe they're supposed to be stereotypical baby-boomer names, so they're meant to imply the person is old, outdated, and just doesn't "get it?" Like it's always names like Sharon, Karen, Susan, Cindy and so on that are more common on people who are 40+.

Uh, no. More like the other way.

I mean, some of them are just... not associated with any particular class IMO (like Susan), but Sharon, Cindy, etc. seem more on the working-class side.

that's weird because I'd definitely say that opposite. Maybe it's a cultural or regional thing or something.
