There have been good effective campaigns to bring back cancelled shows before but the kind of shit I've seen on tumblr is NOT IT. Why the fuck would netflix listen to people who have clearly put zero effort into understanding anything. If you're going to call Netflix bigoted and racist please bother to make an actual argument besides "cancelled sense8" and I still don't think that's going to make them want to spend another $9 million an episode.

I love sense8 and I wish they'd shut the fuck up.

Same issue with The Get Down. The show was one of the most expensive ever made (due partly to bad budgeting on Luhrmann's part probably) but Netflix are supposedly the bad guys for canceling it when it truly wasn't popular enough to justify the expense.

YES the get down discourse is even worse tbh. And I read that was also cancelled due to lack of interest from Baz Luhrman, not even just the budget.

I just could not get into the Get-Down. It was an interesting premise, and I liked the actors, but just something about it didn't click for me.
