Re: Adult Braces?/ Alternatives?

If you don't think it'll bother you and you think you can commit to braces and a retainer (and the ways those things make eating annoying) then go for it.

I got braces in highschool, which is still a kid but also when most of my peers had braces coming off so I was slightly self conscious about it. But it was also entirely my choice because I wanted to have less gaps in my teeth and there was no medical reason for it.

Braces were fine, the retainer was annoying and I stopped wearing it way before I should have, but my teeth still look better then they did. I wouldn't say my teeth are perfect now but for that I'd need veneers or something.

Thanks!

I think I can deal with a few years of it. Maybe. The possible pain from not fixing it and possible issues that may arise definitely spur me on. And the retainer isn't so bad, right? I already use a night guard, so I'm guessing it's not too bad.
