That still scares you?

The DUP.

I have to admit I'm a little surprised to see the reaction that the DUP deal seems to have had

Pleasantly surprised, but surprised

People are fine with Northern Irish politicians being insane, as long as they stay in Norn. I think there is a memory of the last time the Tories needed the Norn Irish politicians to prop them up and how that extended the IRA bombing campaign by several years because of it. It is the combination of the toxic and backwards social nature of Northern Irish politics which is just now a different world from British politics and that fear of being blown up by the Irish again as well as the Muslims.

Well that does resolve my conclusion

Of course the only reason Brits dislike the DUP would be because of the IRA

Dying. Believing that there's nothing after death, not even consciousness, we're just all worm food.

not having had nice parting words with someone. i'm not even sure where it came from, i think it was my mother that taught me that you should make an effort to always part with someone nicely, because you never know if it will be the last time you see them. which is a nice sentiment, but for some reason it translated to me being scared of people dying on me the one time i don't do it.

it has literally never been relevant to me, it's not like i had a bad experience and am afraid of repeating it. i'm just scared of it for no reason.

Dying alone.

Mirrors in dark rooms, especially in places other than bathrooms.

Huh. Did you almost get trampled as a kid, or something? My parents rented grazing land to cattle ranchers, and my mom used to feed thrm, including a big bull named, of course, El Dorado, and they'd come up to the fence when they saw her. Then one day she was walking and who should she meet but El Dorado, with no fence in the way. And he wanted to play. When several hundred pounds of bull wants to play with a squishy human, squishy human runs like hell.

I've just always been scared of them idk why. They're big and strong and I've had nightmares about being trampled to death by cows.

Thunderstorms.

It just never went away and I guess somewhere along the line it became a phobia :c
