I ask because according to my girlfriend - Humble Brag incomming - while I was at this con, some of the girls I was chatting to were being super flirty.

I would really, really like to believe that. It would do wonder for my self esteem, but I just don't see it. I think my girrlfriend was seeing things that weren't there. Her own attempts to be flirtatious are... abysmally subtle, so I don't think she knows what flirting actually is.

idk, all of the geek girls who've ever flirted with me were either so subtle I didn't notice, or so obvious that it was uncomfortable. Like, they got physically clingy, or made 'jokes' that were borderline inappropriate to make with a stranger.
