All these comments, and no one mentions the possibility that the lack of fandom interest is because there's not a second reasonably attractive white guy you could conceivably ship him with?

Ehhhhh.

I honestly think it just... wasn't that great of a movie. Is more the reason it wasn't shipped.

Like, honestly, I loved it when it came out, absolutely. And then it came up on Netflix, and I was like "Oh, sweet, I can rewatch Doctor Strange" and then I started thinking about it and I realized that like... there weren't any parts that I actually really cared about re-seeing?

Oh no it's the slash fans fault the movie isn't popular!!! That's why Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Wonder Woman failed. Meanwhile, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad are huge fandom hits.

Or just maybe the movie was super boring.

I was heartbroken that Mordo turned on the magicians to be honest. I also felt like Mordo deserved SO MUCH BETTER than Stephen. Someone introduce him to Sam Wilson or Jessica Walters or literally anyone awesome and shiny and wonderful who will treat him with respect and goodness he deserves.
