I took this yesterday and it was on the money - top two matches were Austin and San Antonio Tx, and I've lived near both those places most of my life.

They guessed San Jose, Fremont, and Oakland, and I'm from San Francisco, so pretty well fucking done there.

Least similar are Akron, Providence, and Philly, for whatever that's worth.

Rockford and Aurora, Illinois and Fort Wayne, Indiana were the cities listed on mine.

I live in Iowa, so close enough.

I got Washington DC, NYC, and Yonkers NY, and I am from one of those. I wished I could choose more than one answer on a lot of the questions, though.

Map put me in Montgomery, Mobile, and Huntsville. I grew up in SC so that makes sense.

Pretty good. It put me as either Springfield, MO, St. Louis, or Indianapolis, and I'm one of those.

And I'm least like the Northeast Coast.

Yonkers, Jersey City and New York. I live in Europe and english is my second language, so I guess this shows the influence of TV shows.

They guessed Jackson, MS, Huntsville, AL, and Greensboro, NC. I'm in Georgia. Good job, test!

It gave me Salt Lake City, and Fresno and Modesto, California.

The map gives me strong correlation with Minnesota, which is where I grew up, so that makes sense. My parents are from California (although not either of those cities), so that would explain similarities to a Californian dialect.

I'm from Washington DC.

It nailed me - Minnesota (upper Midwest). Though, I had no idea what some of the questions were referring to, lol.

Modesto, Fresno, and Salt Lake City. I'm from LA.

I got Yonkers, Newark, and New York.

I'm from Israel. I have family in Baltimore. But I've been told I sound very "generic" East Coast.

I was curious. Apparently Miami is the closest thing to my dialect. It's sort of southern and hot, so close enough?

Long Beach, Corona, and Fremont.

Heh! Not even close. Like... the opposite side of the country. (Though to be fair, I have lived in areas that attracted folks from all over the world.)

Yonkers, Newark and Philadelphia. I used to live in Manhattan when I was a little kid but I've lived in California since 1980.

I'm British and I got San Jose, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.

It put me in Missouri, I live in Missouri. /thumbs up

DC, Baltimore, Philly. Accurate af.

Which makes sense, as I grew up in Virginia and Alabama.

Boston, Baltimore, DC. Which, I don't really think of Baltimore and DC as similar to New England pronunciations but ok.

The Rotary/Roundabout/traffic circle one gave me a laugh.
