The movies definitely make her more "perfect" than her book counterpart. Her book counterpart could be overbearing, sometimes wrong, and pushy about things despite being brilliant. The movies portray her as the most gifted young witch who can do no wrong.

The movies left out the whole S.P.E.W thing. It showed her heart is in the right place but she was kinda overbearing to the point of annoyance.

To be honest Ron finally openly showing his support of the house elves is what made Hermione want to kiss if if I remember correctly.
