So does that mean every fandom with kid characters should consist only of kids? What about, say, Stranger Things, am I allowed to like that? How about Harry Potter? People are really not thinking this shit through.

I'm in my 30s and tumblr has given me some serious shit for loving Harry Potter without specifying that I only like the characters after the book series is over. Saying I like Harry's storyline in book five is tantamount to murder for some people.

Though it's true, I've never seen anyone on tumblr give anyone bull over liking Stranger Things. In fact, watching and loving that series is encouraged. Idgi.

Seriously. Harry Potter fans who were kids when the books were coming out are adults now. Are they supposed to just stup liking Harry Potter and flagellate themselves for having ever liked books about kids?
