The idea that Sherlock is "child coded" is utter BS, imo, but it's also not actually canon that he's definitively neurodivergent. Yes, he could have Asperger's. He could also have Schizoid Personality Disorder, and/or Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He could also potentially be manic depressive. Or some other thing I haven't mentioned here. But it isn't actually canon that he is any of these things. It's canon that he's extremely intelligent, has an excellent memory, and is often insensitive of others.
