I think for some of these people, killing off the fandoms for their faves is a feature, not a bug. It's all about feeling superior, and getting that lovely hit of self-righteous rage from protecting their fave from the grubby mitts of other fans who might like them in the wrong way.

Try to shame people for being fans of something then whine when it isn't popular or appreciated.

It's sad there is still strong segregation mindset in 2017.

I thought it was implying that excluding white people from Fandom means there will be a hell of a lot less fanfic.

Yep, and then they'll turn right around and scream that the reason there are so few fanworks is because fandom is soooooo racist. No matter what non-black fans do, it's Wrong.
