How has your day been? Here is a summary of mine:

Me: It would be terrible if I spilled chocolate milk on her desk! I never spill anything on my desk, though, so it should be fine!

I got two teeth pulled out. Wisdom teeth that I didn't even know I had until last week, and lo and behold, they had to come out immediately.

I never thought I got anxiety at the dentist but fuuuck.

Damn, I hope you're doing okay, nonny! I had to get mine out because they were impacted and crowding my other teeth. It took me three weeks to feel normal again.

Thanks! I just feel really sore and swollen and am paranoid about breaking the clots or whatever. Ouch, that sucks it took three weeks for you to get back to normal. I was hoping for a speedy 24-hour recovery... I'm may be a little too optimistic.

Sent in five job applications. Also cleaned the apartment a bit and got a burrito for lunch. So, not so bad, I guess, but for some reason it feels like more of a waste.

Having a burrito is never a waste. FYI.

I managed to knock a mug of coffee over my kitchen countertop. It was ironic because what I knocked it with was the sippy-travel lid. The very thing designed to not let the coffee spill was my undoing.

My mom is a teacher and it was her last day of the school year. I'm really happy for her because it was a really good year for her. But now that she's not working for two months, she has more time to pressure me about my lack of employment, and that seems to have started already.

My mother is nice enough to drive me to my Spanish class so I don't have to cancel again.
Take painkillers as soon as I get out of class and into the car.
Go home and rest/sleep all afternoon

This fucking migraine needs to go away.

I can't sleep and I'm just angry at everything

Horrible. We are not even at my sister's new house. This day is going on forever.

I skipped work to hang out with a friend who was coming to town, but she had an emergency and cancelled, so I cleaned the house, dressed my dolls, and ordered some sushi.

Garbage disposal went thbbbbbbbppppppp. I checked the power/breaker and hit the reset button but it's still silent, so I'll wait until tomorrow to see if the motor just got overwhelmed or if I need to get the maintenance guy in here.

Drove to work, which really just cuts the walking down to about a third of what it usually is, walked through the rain, with an umbrella, and still got all of me except the very top bit soaked. Spent roughly ten hours in soaking shoes. I did change scrubs but it took a while for my butt to fully dry. :|

Doing alright now, chillaxing.

Went to stay at my girlfriends place. Except it turns out that her tower has the same issues as Grenfell Tower, so we got evacuated. Very exciting tbh, bit of an adventure.

You can't even invent a girlfriend who lives somewhere better than a shitty, shoddily-made apartment?

Meh. I took care of a bank fee because some websites jerked me around. And I've been listening to Anastasia the broadway musical on repeat and now I'm doing an animatic with it.

And I'm guzzling soda.

Okay day all things considered.

I had a really long week. Like. A couple of 11 hour days and shit.

I woke up about an hour ago after sleeping almost 12 hours. The most productive thing I've done so far is brush my teeth and take my meds. At some point I will get dressed and walk the dog and go to the store. Then I will come back and play Breath of the Wild or watch Hulu stuff until I'm ready to go to bed.

Thaaat's about it. I'm so glad it's my weekend.

Spent most of today taking care of new chicks, one of which is still the same size as when I got her, can't walk, and has had three vet visits this week. If the vet's guess is right she's got maybe another week.

Visited my mom, brought her some juice, tangerines, and a usb drive and put some music on it so she could listen to it on the portable dvd player I got her a couple weeks ago, since she's not really lucid enough for long enough to follow movies or tv anymore. She choked on the juice and I felt awful and started crying.

I missed the bus on the way home and went grocery shopping since the next bus wouldn't come for an hour. My card was denied, which hasn't happened in over a decade. Went to the bank, checked my account balance. -$786. I didn't even know it was possible to overdraw by that much, the last time I overdrew, my account would be barred at -$20. I tried to set up on online account so I could see what happened, only to have the app repeatedly kick me off. Got home. Chicks' heat lamp was unplugged. I plugged it back in but didn't check on them, partly because I didn't want to wake them, and partly because if any died of cold I couldn't take it tonight without throwing myself in front of a bus.

Called customer service. Waited an hour. Was told mobile app setup has to be done on a computer. Which makes no sense, it's a mobile app. Told customer service rep my desktop was ancient and can't be updated further so the site likely wouldn't load. I was right. Have to go to the bank tomorrow. I also have to pay mom's care home $4,000.

I cleared out the only one of her savings accounts I have access to into her checking account, so hopefully there's enough in there now to pay that and her premium bills. And our phone bills. I guess right now I'm grateful that when I tried to switch the billing so I could pay it, AT&T said my mom would have to authorize the transfer. She hasn't walked in a month or got out of bed in a week. She can barely talk. If I could, I'd cancel our phone plan since she can't use her phone anymore either, and just get a cheap one for me. Somehow she managed to delete her custom voicemail message and I got a couple freaked out people asking me if she'd died.

And after I go to the bank tomorrow I get to go see mom and probably cry some more. Her roommate is very kind but seems to be fading as fast as she is. I just wish she wouldn't watch the same episodes of Judge Judy and Dr. Phil over and over. My mom can't speak over the sound, or hear me, and she always begs me to turn it off, but I can't because what am I gonna do, wrestle the remote from the roommate, a sweet 90 year old lady who weighs 80 lbs?

Even though the baby chicks are costing money I don't have, they're worth it right now, because if I didn't have something else depending on me (mom's dying and doesn't count because aside from pay her bills I can't help her anymore) I might off myself.

At least I have enough food to last a week, I can make veggie and bean soup for myself. And there's still most of a 25 lb sack of chick starter, a 25 lb sack of layer feed, and I just bought a bag of cat food, so the animals will be fine for a month. If I can get the mobile app working I can transfer money out of my savings.

I hope nothing else goes horribly wrong. Not sure how much I can take. *Glares at Senate.*
