I had no idea what "cunnilingus" meant until I came across a link to a fic discussing it. Not realizing I was probably the only reader who didn't know what it meant, I then said there should have been a NWS warning. Someone made fun of me, asking if my Mommy and Daddy knew I was online; I was in college. And humiliated.

To be fair, I never knew the word for a very long time. Like, shockingly late. I knew of the act, but never know that particular word for it.
